In 1994, Jim started in LSC’s Rental Department setting up equipment requiring multiple wireless systems and frequency coordination. Jim's previous work experiences at a recording studio, music store (back in the days of LPs), and musician developed his natural interest for audio. Outside of work, he spends time with his family, tinkers with his home studio and mixes for film and live shows.

Born in Iowa, raised in Virginia, and now living in California, Jon joined LSC in 2001. At work, he excels at coordinating radio frequencies, ensuring quality control, and confusing his co-workers. Jon’s multi-media and fine arts background comes in handy with the popularity of art audio projects on the rise.
As a former A/V Technician in the hotels of Washington, D.C., Jon had the distinct honor of pinning lavaliers on the lapels of General Colin Powell, Senators Ted Kennedy and Orin Hatch, and Congressman Dick Armey. In his spare time, Jon enjoys the movies, stamp collecting, Old Time Radio, making art, and “house maintenance”.
Jose Soriano

Originally from El Salvador, Jose joined LSC in 1997. After 10 years in the Shipping and Receiving Department, Jose pretty much knows how to efficiently pack, ship, track, and personally deliver everything and anything.
In July of 2007, Jose moved to his current position as a Communications Technician. With thousands of walkies coming in and out of the Rental Department, Jose’s quality-control work is critical to our two-way radio operations. Still in training to learn other duties within his new department, Jose takes pride in his job, and enjoys working with other team members to provide excellent customer service.

Don’t let her petite stature fool you! Regina has been cracking the whip in the Rental Department since 1997. She makes sure that all rental transactions/contracts are billed and paid, department paperwork flows through and is processed, missing or damaged equipment is accounted for, etc. She is your contact for billing questions related to rental

His excellent customer service skills are a perfect match for a busy department required to accommodate quick turnarounds, last minute changes, 24/7 help...you know, anything to make your contact at LSC a pleasant one.
Before joining LSC, Robert attended Valley College in the San Fernando Valley where he had his eye on a law enforcement career. Sorry, North Hollywood P.D.! Outside of work, Robert spends time with his two sons whom he absolutely adores.

Originally from Mexico City, Roberto has been at LSC since 1998. He started in the Shipping Department before being “shipped” to a critical position in the Rental Department. His responsibilities include coordinating walkie frequencies, maintenance of communication equipment for optimum performance, and staff support as needed.

If your drive to and from work is 45 miles long, about 1 1/2 hours each way, you might be a poster child for road rage. But, thank goodness, Sterling is more Zen that most of us. This ex-New Haven, Connecticut native joined LSC in 1990, starting (ironically enough) as a driver for the shipping department. Sterling says working at LSC has been great, especially since he enjoys all his fellow co-workers and the products we provide. If truth be known, Sterling creates this positive, high energy vibe that is nothing short of infectious. So if you have the blahs, just be around Sterling, and wait a few seconds. His cheerful demeanor should snap you right out of it. When he’s not working (or driving) Sterling enjoys traveling and sports with his wife and children.

Musicians are aplenty at LSC, and Tim is one of them. He has recorded drums on two albums but plays key and bass guitars as well. He joined LSC in 2005 as a tech for the Communications side of the Rental Department. Now a Rental Coordinator, he helps customers with all their walkie-talkie needs, from budgeting to technical issues. The best part of his job, he says, is seeing customers walk out with a smile on their faces. Tim is a native Californian...born, raised, and still living in Simi Valley.

William joined LSC in 2001 starting in the shipping department. Two years later, an opening in the Rental Department allowed him to learn a new side of the sound business as a radio and quality control technician. William was born and raised in El Salvador. |
