Exclusively available through Location Sound is the new RoLLogic remote roll recorder controller manufactured by OnSet Devices. Now the production sound mixer can roll as many as three recorders with the flip of one switch. The RoLLogic will start and stop record mode for almost any machine made, in any combination--- DVD, hard disc, DAT or analog--- with RS422, RS232, GPI, contact closure, active pull-down and pulse signals. Use existing mix panel roll switch or the optional RoLLogic Switch Unit accessory with built in slate mic, amplifier and switch.
The RoLLogic has auto switching for muting/routing of cart speaker and phones to eliminate feedback while slating and recording. Units can be daisy chained to control any number of machines. RoLLogic firmware is easily upgraded, and custom programming is available from LSC.
