The IFBR1C from IFBlue is an affordable IFB (Interruptible Fold Back) receiver designed for film and broadcast production. With its simple interface, the IFBR1C receiver is ideal for use by directors, producers, and broadcast or production crew for monitoring sound or providing cues during production.

The IFBlue receiver features a back-lit LCD and is easy to set up and use. It offers 10 presets that are easily programmable from the front panel. The IFBR1C receiver accepts either disposable AA or rechargeable NiMh AA batteries. Battery life is exceptional—10 hours with Alkaline AAs, 12+ hours with 2500 mA/H NiMh rechargeables, and 20+ hours with Energizer lithium disposables. Future firmware updates can be installed in the field via the USB jack located behind the battery door. USB update utility apps for both Mac and PC are available on the IFBlue website. The receivers have an integrated, spring-loaded "clamp" style beltclip for easy and secure placement.

The IFBR1C receiver is fully compatible with existing Lectrosonics IFBT4 transmitters and any Digital Hybrid Wireless transmitter in IFB mode where there is a frequency overlap. Location Sound stocks two IFBR1C frequency ranges: A1 (470-537 MHz), B1 (537-614 MHz), and C1 (614-691 MHz).
