NOTE: This COSI Modular Windshield option has a Medium-sized cage length of 18 cm and comes with an integrated microphone holder designed to fit a shotgun mic 19 mm in diameter.

The COSI by Cinela is a modular windshield designed for short bodied shotgun microphones. Available in three cage lengths: Small (15 cm), Medium (18 cm) and Large (21 cm). The Medium and Large COSIs come with a longer cable length, the Small COSI with a shorter cable length. Cable ends are 3-pin XLR.

The COSI's fur is medium pile in length and not designed to be removable compared to traditional zeppelins. It has no other fabric or layer underneath it which makes it good for indoor/outdoor use.

Mounting your shotgun mic onto the COSI is incredibly easy. On the rear of the windshield, you will find the bottom end of the mic holder. To pull out the holder, simply twist the low-profile handles a quarter-turn to the left. Insert the shotgun mic to the holder. To reattach to the windshield, turn the handles a quarter turn to the right to lock it in. Voila! Mic change done in mere seconds.

• COSI-L-21: MiniCMIT or similarly sized mic with 21 mm diameter, Long cage, Long cable
