The Lectrosonics DCHR Digital Receiver is engineered to work alongside the DCHT Transmitter to form the Digital Camera Hop system. The receiver is also compatible with the M2T unencrypted and M2T-X encrypted digital stereo transmitters, and the D2 Series mono digital transmitters, including the DBu, DHu, and DPR. Designed to be camera-mountable and battery-powered, the DHCR receiver is ideal for location sound, sports video production, reality TV, and anywhere a wireless stereo camera hop or super-compact digital receiver is needed. Think small cameras!

The DHCR employs advanced antenna diversity switching during digital packet headers for seamless audio. The receiver operates in the UHF frequencies of 470.100 to - 614.375 MHz in a single range for maximum flexibility. The Locale setting is used to restrict the tuning range for North American users to an upper limit of 608.375 MHz.

The headphone monitor output is fed from a high-quality stereo amplifier with power available to drive even inefficient headphones or earphones to sufficient levels for noisy environments. An intuitive interface and high resolution LCD on the unit provide users with a quick read on the status of the system.

The DCHR employs 2-way IR sync, so settings from the receiver can be sent to a transmitter. This way, frequency planning and coordination can be done quickly and confidently with on-site RF information. The receiver employs AES 256-bit, CTR mode encryption for robust security, and four key management policy choices for different applications.

Housings and panels are made of machined aluminum with ebENi finishes (black electroless nickel plating) with laser etched marking for durability, yet they are
lightweight and sleek in order to occupy minimal space on a camera. The DCHR features a user-friendly interface with a high-resolution, backlit LCD and membrane switches for ease of setup and system monitoring, and runs for 8 hours on two lithium AA batteries.
