North Hollywood, CA – December 15, 2023 – Location Sound Corporation announced today that outgoing Sales Manager, Steve Joachim will be succeeded by Val Asuncion. Dave Auslender will join the management team as Assistant Sales Manager.
Mr. Joachim, who has been with the company since 1991, will retire at year-end. “It has been a privilege and an honor to lead the Sales Department at LSC for over 25 years. Val and Dave will make a terrific team together to continue the work we do every day to be the industry leaders in customer service to the professional sound community,” says Steve Joachim.
Mr. Asuncion joined Location Sound in 1996 initially as a Sr. Sales Representative and quickly promoted to the position of Assistant Sales Manager. “I know the exacting needs of our customers to deliver professional quality sound,” says Val. “I’m excited to continue the tradition that Steve started, which is to provide our customers the highest level of service and expertise they have come to expect from us.”
In 1997, Mr. Auslender joined Location Sound as a Rental Technician specializing in two-way radios and wireless systems. His easygoing nature and diligence eventually led him to the role of Communications Rental Coordinator. By 2007, he made the switch to the Sales Department. “I am honored to take on the Assistant Sales Manager position. I look forward to carrying on the LSC tradition of delivering sincere, dedicated, and exceptional customer service. Our clients are our family,” says Dave.
Both will assume their new roles effective January 1, 2024.
